Lydia Missal owner of Flow State Psychotherapy

Lydia Missal

LCPC-S, EMDR CERTIFIED, ADVENTURE-BASED PSYCHOTHERAPIST, WFR, OWNER/CLINICIAN

Do you seek to be transformed through the therapeutic process? If so, Lydia Missal, adventure-based psychotherapist, graduate of Prescott College, might be the right fit for you.

Lydia has an open, inviting, and grounding presence. She specializes in trauma-informed practices as an EMDR certified therapist, adventure and nature-based interventions, resilience, mindfulness, and creative expression.

Therapeutically, she’s passionate about collaborating with her clients on helping them access the flow state inside and outside of the office while weaving in a sense of humor. She loves connecting with humans at all stages of their life journey.

Personally, she loves all types of adventure that involve physical movement, travel, her two doggies Lola and Dash, and spending time with her husband, family and friends.

She usually accesses the flow state through physical movement such as climbing or endurance events. She knows she’s in the Flow State because she feels alive, energetic, content, connected, calm and secure.

Justin Highhouse

LPC, SHRM-SCP, WFR, CLINICIAN

Are you seeking a counselor who combines professional expertise with a love for the outdoors? Justin Highhouse, licensed professional counselor and graduate of Boise State University and Ithaca College, may be the perfect guide for your journey.

Justin brings warmth, curiosity, and a collaborative approach to his work. With a background in human resources and outdoor adventure leadership, he specializes in helping clients navigate personal and professional challenges through a blend of nature-based therapy, cognitive and behavioral techniques, and solution-focused strategies.

Therapeutically, Justin is passionate about creating a space where clients can explore their goals, build resilience, and find personal meaning. He believes in tailoring the counseling process to each individual, incorporating elements of motivation, mindfulness, and emotional growth to foster lasting change.

Outside the office, Justin finds his flow state in nature—whether it’s hiking, backpacking, or even just working in the yard. He loves connecting with others, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with his community of friends and family.

Justin knows he’s in his element when he feels alive, connected, and at peace—an energy he’s excited to share with his clients.
